Gajdos Népzenei Együttes
The Gajdos Band was formed in the city of Eger, in 1986. With its second CD, they continue the tradition they started with their first album. This CD features some of the most characteristic folk music dialects of the Hungarian language territory. The music Gajdos plays at a very high artistic standard originates from the regions Marosmente, Moldva, Kalotaszeg, Felvidék and Szilágyság. Among the tracks we can find wine songs form their hometown Eger as well as some bagpipe songs from the Nógrád region. The CD is recommended to all folk music lovers.The singer of the band is Lilla Polgár, who released her solo album: "Trial of love".
