In the traditional world on Christmas Eve noisy singing loaded the villages. Singers, who went from house to house, proclaimed the miracle with great enthusiasm, which had become truth. Every gate has opened for them and the whole community celebrated together.

On this album Ilonka Nyisztor recalls Christmases from her childhood as a personal remembrance. She sings popular Christmas songs, which on Christmas Eve filled in the Moldavian Csángó villages from dusk to dawn as part of the folk tradition of "singing".
