This 178 -page publication, which includes the sheet music of 142 tunes, a CD supplement with 55 tracks, some related essays and a few black and white pictures, is the result of several years’ collecting and data systematising work. It features the instrumental music of the fifth Hungarian music dialectal territory, namely the Bako area in the Moldavian region.

            Our aim with the publication was to call the attention to the music culture of the Csango Hungarians living beyond the Eastern Carpathians. The publication is meant to be supplementary material and a handbook in music teaching.
